About the Series

As 2015 comes to a close, join Mindfulness Unlimited for small-group workshops to prepare for a whole new you and a much deeper and fulfilling life in the upcoming year. The sessions includes caring for your body, mindfulness training, tea and life appreciation, and finally, life-coaching to get you on track towards a more focused and fruitful 2016.

They would be conducted by William Chong and Carel Lim, who have both trained overseas for several years to develop these courses, and designed the workshops to be meaningful and applicable in each of our daily work and family lives.

The workshops are designed to each deepen and develop into the next, helping you explore your body, mind and spirit, and so we recommend you take the day off to relax and enjoy all four sessions offered. In the case you face time constraints or are interested in particular courses, we welcome you to join us for individual ones.

Session 1: Health – The Art of Loving Yourself (2.00pm - 3.15pm)

A good health has to be founded upon daily exercises practiced throughout the day. These has to be something we do weekly, monthly, and if possible something for longer periods of time, perhaps a year, even a lifetime. During this holiday season, hear from Mindfulness Unlimited Nutritionist Carel Lim as she shares her experience on how to love yourself through a balanced and holistic diet and lifestyle habits, helping you prepare yourself optimally for a brand new 2016!

Session 2: Mindfulness in Daily Life (3.30pm - 4.45pm)

Do you want to fully experience life and all it offers? Do you wish you could have better memory and a sharper mind? Do you aspire to a more effective personal and work life? Mindfulness is the keystone to all these improvements to your life. In this workshop, Mindfulness Unlimited Life Coach William Chong will guide you in techniques to develop your awareness of both your body and mind, building upon which you will be able to make better decisions in life.

Session 3: Mindfulness in Action – From Tea to Life Appreciation (5.00pm - 6.15pm)

Having developed mindfulness in quietude from “Mindfulness in Daily Life”, we move on to train in mindfulness while in activity, and furthermore cultivating an appreciation for the wider environment that we live in. Mindfulness Unlimited Life Coach William Chong draws upon the everyday activity of tea-making and -drinking to explore the relationship between self and others, starting from recognizing what components makes up tea, to making tea and finally consuming the tea. Participants will enjoy three beautiful organic teas in this session.

Session 4: Kickstart 2016! (7.30pm - 8.45pm)

Chart your course, raise your sails, and set off into a whole new 2016! As we say goodbye to this year, have you properly considered where your ship is bound for in the ocean of life? Join Mindfulness Unlimited Life Coach William Chong as he brings you through the entire life planning process, helping you be aware of what you truly aspire to in life, understanding your present state, and how to take small concrete steps towards your ideal life. Participants will also have access to a follow up group to encourage each and every one to keep to their aspirations.

About the Speakers

William Chong

William graduated with a BA in Economics from the National University of Singapore, and subsequently trained for four years in Taiwan’s Fo Guang University, pursuing a Masters of Arts in Buddhist Studies. During the course of his studies, he enjoyed many opportunities to learn from teachers of Buddhist philosophy, Mindfulness, and the art of Chinese Tea. Having concluded his MA with an extended exploration of the Buddha’s life story, he was thus inspired to develop a life-coaching system to guide others towards living a full and satisfying life.

Carel Lim

Carel Lim is a nutritionist trained in human nutrition, food science, and health promotion. She has a wealth of experience in the field of natural healing from her work as a corporate nutritionist, wellness consultant and holistic health practitioner. She focuses on empowering individuals and groups through developing healthy eating and lifestyle habits that support their goals in all areas of health, wellness and fitness for life.
